Interior wall cladding for a feature wall – Calverley, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Client requirements:

The clients wanted to make a feature of an interior wall by cladding it in natural stone, to complement a newly installed, solid fuel fire.

Our recommendations:

After carrying out a free survey on the interior living room wall of their property, we recommended a random natural Yorkshire stone finish, using 3 different sizes of stone tile.

Installation:

In order to ensure a sound, solid surface and a good ‘key’ for the natural stone cladding, we levelled out the wall with a special epoxy resin to rid the application area of any undulations, then treated it with a  BBA Approved stabilising agent. Our installers then applied the random cladding to the wall, completing the project within the projected timescale.

Results:

The clients were ‘extremely delighted’ with the end results, and couldn’t wait to show all of their friends! They were very happy with the level of service, saying that they would ‘thoroughly recommend’ us to anyone who asked.
